Pathri

Katty Pathri
Ingredients:
Pathri Powder(Idiappam Powder): 1kg
Water : 1ltr
Cumin Seed : 25gms.
Small Onion: 250 gms.
Coconut Grated: 1 cup.

Method:
1. Heat a pan ,add 1 teaspoon of oil ,add cumin seed when it become brownish colour add onion and coconut.Stir 2 minutes. Keep aside.
1. Boil water , add required salt and one teaspoon oil.
2. When it boils ,hand add the flour in small quantity.
3. Add the cumin, coconut and onion mixture.
4. Stir after 1 minute.
5.Remove it from fireand keep it close.
6.After 1 minute put this warm mixture in a flat surface and mix it thoroughly giving good pressure till the dough become soft.
7.Make orange sized balls out of this and press it with a roller.
8.Heat Dawa and grill the pathri by turning the both sides. No need for oil.
