Sweet potato puttu



Ingredients
1. Sweet potato - 250 gms
2.Onion - 1
3. Green Chilli -3
4. Chilli powder -1teaspoon
5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
6. Grated fresh Coconut - 2 tablespoon
7.salt - for your taste

For Seasoning
oil - 1 table spoon
Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Urd dhal - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaf - 1 punch
Red chilli - 1



Method

  • Cook Sweet potato in the stream. Remove the skin and grate it with a help of a grater.
  • Cut the onion and chilli into thin slices. 
  • In a pan add oil , add mustard seed when it stop crackling add urd dhal, when it becone golden brown add curry leaf and red chilli.
  • Now add the the onion and chilli, fry for 2 minutes and add sweet potato.
  • Stir occasionally and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Now add turmeric, chilli powder and salt also. 
  • Stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle coconut and switch off the stove.
  • Sweet potato puttu is ready.
