Methi paneer sabji

Ingredients

  • Paneer - 100 gms.
  • Fresh fenugreek-1cup (chopped)
  • onion-2 (finely chopped)
  • Tomato -1/2cup (chopped)
  • Ginger,garlic paste-2tsp
  • Green chillies-2 finely chopped
  • Redchilli powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin  powder - 1/2tsp
  • Turmeric powder -1/2tsp
  • Garam masala powder -1/2tsp
  • Fresh cream-2tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • sugar-1tsp
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - 1 table spoon
  • cumin seed - 1 teaspoon.

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan  add paneer and stir for a while .Keep aside.
  2.  In the same oil add cumin seeds,onions,green chillies,saute for 3 mins. 
  3. Add ginger,garlic paste,saute well. 
  4. Add tomato ,all dry masala powders,sugar,salt,1cup water and 1/2 cup milk for 5 mins. 
  5. Add chopped fenugreek leaves cook for a while add paneer and fresh cream. 
  6. Serve hot with chapati.
