Yellow Pumpkin Puri

Ingredients
  • Pumpkin peeled and grated -1 cup
  • Grated jaggery - 1/2 cup
  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Semolina rava - 2 tablespoon
  • Pure ghee - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt -  A pinch
  • Cardamom powder - A pinch  
  • Oil to Deep fry.



Method 

  1. Heat Ghee in Kadai, add grated pumpkin. Saute it and cover it for 2 minutes. 
  2. Now add jaggery and cook together. Once it mixed well and pumpkin is cooked, remove from the flame. Let it get slightly warm. 
  3. Add cardamom powder, salt, wheat flour, rava ,Pure ghee to the pumpkin and make a dough of it. 
  4. If you think it is very loose you can add more flour to it. Let the dough cool. 
  5.  Make small balls of dough. Spread them like a puri. 
  6. Deep fry these in hot oil until golden brown.
