- Raw rice - 2cup
- Fenugreek - 1 teaspoon
- Watermelon white part- 1 1/2 cup
- Ginger - 1" piece
- Green chilli - 1
- Salt to taste
Method:
1. Soak rice and fenugreek for an hour.
2. Cut the watermelon white part into small cubes. Mix together soaked rice, ginger, green chilli and melon .
3. Grind nicely. Add salt to taste.
4. Make the batter like Rava dosa.(consistency like thick buttermilk)
5. Pour a ladle full of dosa batter from the outward base of the tawa in a circular motion . Fill the gap in the middle with dosa batter. Don’t drop batter like a thick lump but pour all over, evenly, filling the gaps. Pour 1-2 tsps of oil like drops along the edge of the dosa and the gaps in the middle.Keep the flame in mediun .
6.Turn the dosa and cook for 2 minutes.
7.watermelon dosa is ready. Serve with Pudina chutney powder and coconut chutney.
